Not if you own a pre 97 V8... The SBEC will wipe the stock speed limiter
and up the revs too.
I can even get one for my 92 V6. I haven't got one yet because... When I
had money; premium gas was 1.40; now that premium gas only runs 1.10 I
could reason buying it but I don't have any spare money. ARRRGHH
