Hello All, Went to my local tire and wheel guy today. Saw some really
nice 17" wheels and BFG 255/50 17 tires. $1400.00 for the set of 4.
Learned something cool, if your in the market for wheels, make sure the
inside hole diameter of the wheel fits the hub, snugly. Many after
market wheels have a very large diameter hub hole (so 1 casting fits
many cars) but this puts all the stress on the studs which is not good.
He told me that stock OEM wheels always always fit the hub snugly.
He also told me that there has been alot of lawsuits because of wheel
breakage. Thought is was a good point to share with all of you.
Bob
