I currently am running the BFG Comp T/A ZR4's that you're
talking about. The have great grip, but will not fill up the
fenders unless the truck is lowered. I went with the Comp
T/A ZR4 because it still had some sidewall to speak of.
I still use my truck to haul and tow occasionally so I didn't
want rubber bands for tires.
I might have used the sport truck T/A's had they had any
that met my size requirements, plus they were out of
production a few months ago due to a fire at a BFG
plant. They had to convert the sport truck T/A line to
meet OEM production tire capacities. Usually, the
Sport Truck line comes in sidewall profiles in the 60-65%
range. We have been running a set of these on our Chevy
Sportside project truck and they work great. They are really
HUGE, just as advertised.
