In Toronto we have 4 grades of gas. Regular (the lowest you can get in
Canada) is 87 octane, mid is 89, supreme (depending on the brand) is
anywhere from 91-93. Then there's Ultra - 94 octane. Only one chain of
stations sells it - Sunoco.
In Alberta there are only the three grades. I couldn't tell you about the
other provinces, but I'm sure others on the list can.
It was recommended by the Chrysler dealership here that I should use the
higher octane around once per month and give it a good run. I can't
honestly say that I've been doing that as I think '87 is just fine for my needs.
