Good one Rob. But I've got an even better one. One summer at the Toronto
International Airport, I saw an older couple from Texas wearing big heavy
fur coats. It was August also, and the temp was around 35 C (94 F). The
guy was pissed and yelling a lot because he couldn't get a rifle to protect
his wife from polar bears. Ok, this was when I was a kid, but I still laugh
whenever I remember it. :)
All kidding aside, I'm not making fun of Texans, so I'll apologize now
before y'all start sending me your hate-mail in case you took it that way.
It really did happen, and the couple probably just didn't know anything
about your friendly northern neighbors (oh look, I spelt it the American way
-- Jason, this is your fault!)
And just so you don't think I have anything against Texans, you'll find a
photograph that I took of a total solar eclipse with a group from NASA-JPL
in Houston hanging in the Astronomy department at Rice University down in
your state. I like to have fun just like you guys do with us. ;)
Dak content: I want to take my dak up north to introduce it to the northern
lights. It would make a great picture. :)
