Well I really have to wait till summer so I can start buying the various parts
needed for the project; tires, rims, lift, torsion bars, etc. I couldnt afford
to do it all at one time, unfortunately. I dont have a web page but I do plan
on taking before and after shots on the front end, which will be completely
new with the kit, as well as some tires/rim shots and ground clearance shots.
I figure that I can hopfully get the kit(with the optional dual shock setup
and front steering stabilizers), get it installed, tires, rims, bucket seats,
new front and rear HD driveshafts, and possibly even 3.9 gears all for maybe
$6500.......Or atleast that is how much I am willing to spend. After
all......I couldnt really afford a new 99 Dakota 4x4 for $23,500...so I figure
I would throw some cash into my truck and make it the way I want it to be.
Eventually i would like to swap in a 5.2, but lately just been considering a
newer 3.9....not sure about that yet though, hopefully my V6 will last around
150-175,000 miles so I wont have worry about engines for awhile.....cause I am
sure that will cost alot more...do you guys have any suggestions or things I
should look into adding to this project?
Kyle
