Subject: DML: Tube steps

I`m planning on purchasing 3" Dia. chrome tube steps for my 99
Dak CC sport 4x4, but all the steps that I`ve looked at attach to the
body of the cab not the frame, it seems to me that if it is
attached to the body, over time, the holes in the sheet metal will
widen and loosen the bolts.
Has anyone installed tube steps on their Dak,(or other truck), and
experienced this problem or am I worrying over nothing?
Also has anyone installed a sun visor on their truck an had any problems
with water leakage or rust ?
thanks for your reply

I have Grizzly oval tubes on my 98 4x4 and they mount to the frame. I had to
drill four holes and they haven't given me any problems.
