Hey everyone,
Heres the deal, I put a 180 stat in after experiencing with a 160, which was
too cold for the comp. Now, I guess since it is geting colder outside, I am
getting the 17 again. 150 miles at 3/4 tank! The 180 did great during the
summer. I have tried putting cardboard in front of the radiator and it still
is running cold. Avg high temps have been in the 45-50 range for the past few
days, lows from 32-40.
Could this be a problem with my coolant temp sensor? I dont get a code 22
though.
I have yet to check how rich my antifreeze is. Dont think this would make
much of a difference though.
Does anyone know the exact temp that my 92 pre OBD II comp registers as
"normal temperature/running mode?"
Stuck in "warm-up mode" and racing tomorrow. Hmmm....this could be a good
thing though. Mebbe I should bring a 195 stat with me to the track..........
Hmmmm.......
