The problem with these small displacement high horsepower motors is they are fine
for lightweight cars and do provide exciting acceleration and good mileage in
these cars. BUT most of them are GUTLESS at the bottom end, have little torque
so when used in a truck to pull a heavy trailer they cant even get going. Torque
seems to require lots of cubic inches to produce. What good is a truck engine
whose torque peak comes at such a high rpm that under load it cant get the load
moving. Sometimes you have to decide if you need a fast car or a truck that can
pull a load.
