Yes it is a tranny cooler of sorts..BUT if your engine ever overheats,
you'll be cooking the tans fluid as well. Go for a real tranny cooler and
plug the one on the radiator.

Subject: DML: Trans cooler ?
I was under my truck this weekend trying to decide what to do next (catback
should be here Wed., ordering the headers and Roll-Top tomorrow) and thought
about a trans cooler. I noticed there are 2 lines coming out of the trans
going to the radiator? So I assume I already have a trans cooler of sort.
Should l still install a secondary cooler or is this one good enough? Also,
how will my 160 T-stat affect the trans? Thanks for the help.
