George, I used some repro '70 Coronet hood scoops from Year One. They just
bolt on, but I put a rubber gasket between the hood and scoops. I used
mostly stock items for the air box. It sealed the dual three inch ducts to
a nine inch round K&N. The whole box mounted to the hood, filter and base
plate stayed on the engine. There's a pix on the Shelby Dak registry, on
the non-Shelby Daks. This setup worked great, and looked factory (with an
"air grabber" decal). FYI.
