FYI, I have a Crane HI-6TR on my 95 and it is CARB approved, the "TR" stands
for timing retard. The 95 is supercharged. On my 98 I have a Crane HI-6 and
it is not CARB approved but hopefully it will be some day. I live out here
in Calif. so when it comes time to smog, I will just dis-connect it. Both
trucks have the Crane PS-92 coil installed. I am very happy with the Crane
products I have heard good things and bad things about the MSD. Most of the
bad things came from other DML members and it centered around loosing power,
not reliability. The choice is up to you.......
