Sounds like computer problems to me. It's time to go with the Mopar SBEC.

I was driving back from Portland, OR this weekend and ran into to stop and sometimes go traffic after about 2 hours of 65+ MPH driving. After about 5-10 minutes of sitting pretty much idle in this traffic my 1994 3.9L Dakota stumble and stalled. I had plenty of fuel and the engine cranked strong, but it would not fire. So I get on the phone to get a tow truck and am on the line and hold off and on for about 15-20 minutes. While on hold I give it another shot and it fires right up. Any idea what could possibly cause this to happen?
