The 7/70 I believe had to be signed over at the time of purchase and had to be
put in your name. You can take you VIN# to a dealer, have them run it, and it
should come up the history on that truck including if the 7/70 was purchased.
When I bought my 93 Dakota 4x4 V6 used wiht 10,000 miles on it I had to pay
$100 to get the 7/70 transfered over...
