Underhood Ram Head

Thanks for the kind words.

I used red vinyl tape to do the ram head. I see that you have
an SLT so I'll assume that you know that the underhood pad with the
head pressed in is either part of the package or an option.

I got the pad from the parts dept. and was intending to paint
the pressed head but realized it might not be a good idea
because the material is so fibrous.

Before installing the pad, I used tracing paper to get the
outline of the head. I then used this and outlined it onto
some cardboard with carbon paper. I cut the cardboard outline
and adjusted them for fit. I then used the cardboard cutouts
and transferred the shapes to the (soft type) vinyl tape.

Had a real tough time finding someone who carried the size of
vinyl tape that I needed. I think it was about 9" x 12" and
cost me $5.00 CDN.
