I have a 97 Dodge Dakota, base model 2.5 liter in line 4 cylinder, I have two
different setups for k&n, I use the stock replacement k&n for the road and for
dragging when I get a chance, with othe semi stock trucks, I use a conical k&n
and take out the air filter box, but as for just on the road, I have not seen
my gas mileage go down at all...strange about yours, are you sure it went
down...
