what you saw was a new headlamp system called HID (high intensity
discharge). The light is SO white that it appears blue from the right
angle. Mercedes, BMW, Lincoln, and Audi all use it. It's expensive. Like
1500 for the assembly or something rediculous like that. If you want that
look on your Dak, don't, whatever you do, DON'T get BLUE ION HEADLIGHTS!!
They are junk. The reduce visiblilty and could get you a fat ticket.
