I was right. It was the fuel pump. My charge: the $50 deductable.
Service guy says the fuel pump and filter are one assembly, so the
filter
was replaced too. (Damn good thing, otherwise they'd be doing the job
again!)
Thank the DAK good it was under warranty. (It just paid for itself
didn't it!)
Woohoo! I'm getting my truck back (said while doing a dance atop my
swivel chair,
now is that OSHA approved?)
Sure am glad I got that extended warranty.
