Tom:

The service sheet is XXXX'd out for prices. They didn't give me a quote
(the service sheet says they did, $87 my a$$).

I figure it took 2 guys to drop the tank, about an hour. Drop in
the pump/filter assembly, put the tank on. They did say 1.8 hours,
but'll
I'll check when I leave work. I can call the parts dept. and ask how
much
for a pump. I've heard its easier (guess it depends on rollpan's and
how
much fuel you have) to take the bed off and go in from the top.

The symptom leading up to this:
Truck won't start on first turnover (lasted a couple of months)
Second try at ignition it would fire up.

I figured it was just dirty injectors. I added Slick 50 injector
cleaner
(silver bottle, $15 at autozone). It seemed to help a little.

I think I posed a Q to the DML a month or so back about replacing the
fuel
filter. Most replies were dirty injectors. That was only part of the
problem.

I'll get info from the parts dept and post tomorrow in the AM.

I'm off to do some Xmas shopping (Uhgg!) in my HAPPY DAK.

COOl! Glad your back on the road! Did they tell you how much this
would cost
if it wasn't under warranty?? Just wondering if I should start saving
now!
