Drop in a 180 degree STANT thermostat. Check the DML
page for p/n and a complete 'How to' courtesy of Jon. I have roughly
the same setup as you, and experienced the same problem. Putting
the 180 F. Tstat cured about 95% of those pings... The other 5%
will only go away (so far) by adding 104 Octane boost.
