I felt the zero cat would be to loud and attract attention to my illegal
setup.... So I went with the mufflers, and maybe in the future run the
second cat....

Are you talking about a 1in2out muffler or do you have a true
dual exhaust
system? I was referring to a true dual exhaust system w/o
catalytic converters
... Do you have your cat(s) in place?

I've tried both setups, even w/o the cat. on the stock system,
and the single
exhaust was much more quiet, especially at idle.
