There's a little tab off to one side of the T'Stat Housing (Black housing
with the two bolts) that makes it a pain in the a$$ to put back on without
moving the gasket. You don't have to grind it if you don't want to. Just
makes it easier during the installation.

I didn't move/remove anything when I changed mine to a 180. That's why I
ground the tab down a bit. (The tab is useless anyway)
