>>>I just disconected the back 5 1/4 speakers and got a kick ass MB
Quarts component set with 200 watts going to each side for 400 watts
total
just for the mids and highs<<<

I've got 5x7's in the back of mine =( yuk!
I'm thinkin' I can make a bracket and mount 5.25, maybe even 6.5's back
there and get a nice even sound. My head unit seems to have a built in
crossover (most of my highs go to the door speakers and mids and lows go
to the rear) but I have the factory-style (not the originals, but they
are CC) 5x7's in the back, so that may have something to do with it..
