This is the saddest/scariest message I've read in a long time... I think
Steven King would have a hard time topping this!
It seems to me the bad oil pump started this horror show. Was there no
indication of a problem via the gauge or any weird noises prior to the
carnage??
Curious,
T.

what I found!!!!!!
1 engine block wasted, 2 cracked and gouged cylinders
1 crankshaft wasted, 3/8" gouge in rod journal
2 connecting rods wasted, 1 in many pieces
6 pistons bad, 2 way bad!! both in pieces
3 valves visibly bent, rest will need to be looked at, but dont
doubt there are more bad ones!!!
3 obviously bent pushrods, rest of em are getting thrown away
1 dented oil pan. a hammer will fix it!!!
1 bad oil pump (DUH!!) the root of all evils????
1 broken timing chain, only 1000 miles on it
1 broken cam gear, in about 6 pieces
1 broken timing cover, something went through it!!!!
1 hurt cam. the rod came up and slammed a cam lobe
Can I borrow a couple dollars?
