try moving the exhaust pipe around. Push it to the right if the noise occurs
when turning left.

Subject: DML: Noises After Skid Plate Install

I recently installed the MOPAR front suspension and T-case skid plates on a
'98 4x4... Ever since I get this nasty sounding rumble/groaning noise when
I first accelerate or take a left turn. It doesn't happen when I'm up to
speed... only when I take off from a standing stop.

I've been under the truck about ten times now I can't see anything rubbing,
binding, or anything wrong and it's driving me nuts!!!

When I installed the front plates, it was a tight fit and I know there is a
lot of tension in the metal... Is this maybe just the metal flexing so
it's not rubbing on anything??

I'm out of ideas/things to check/a way to fix this... Any suggestions or
thoughts?

Thanks.

T.
