I've been reading the DML for a couple of weeks now and have enjoyed much of the info.
I have a 1999 CC Sport 5.2L with most of the toys. One of the lessons I have learned
the hard way is new vehicles normally have poor alignment when they come from the dealer.
I just had my truck aligned at an independent dealer who tells me the wheels were point
wrong at the top and the toe-in was wrong. It steers easier now so I know they made a
difference. In the past I tried to get the dealer to check it but they always think it
is fine. This time I spent the $50 and think I won't have the front tires wear out too
fast.
I want to thank you guys for the tip on the Dodge spare tire lock. My dealer said I was
the first one who ever asked for one. No big surprise since I did not know it existed
either until I read on the web. Thanks.
