Huh??? First off the 5 speed NV3500 was first available
in the '94 V8 model year, V6 has a different trans. The
A-518 and A-500 (I had an A500 in my '91 Dakota) were
the only transmissions for V6 and V8 Dakotas in the '92-94
model years (to my knowledge).

Maybe he has one of those Made in Brazil Diesel to Gas
conversion, Don Gartlets, Carrol Shelby signature series
imported through South America, Mark III models. Yeah
that's it. A V8 that is a gas V6, with a V2 diesel... Cyl. #1
and #2 are diesel powered... Give it the low end snap that
makes it generate the extra hp off line.
