Re: 5-spd man probs (kinda long)

$15.50 I believe, and it was 3-4 quarts. The transmission
shop was going to put redline, but Chrysler doesn't give a
'weight' on the fluid... Just manual transmission fluid. They
figured it would be best to run with what it calls for rather
than take a chance and blow the seals, or something else.
I've got 102500 miles on mine, original clutch, etc.. Still
ok-dokay... I have a little bit of a pop getting it into
2nd, 4th gear... Syncros... I am already planning for the
clutch replacement SF II, and having the transmission gone
through... Quoted at $1150: for a SFII clutch ($350 something), ($275
labor), and rebuild kit ($375 of that which includes new
syncros, seals, bearings, etc.) and $150 for tax/misc.

That price doesn't include hard parts, but I don't think
I'll have any problems... Did the same thing with my
'86 Mighty Max.... Hate spending money, but if I can go
105K between rebuilds/clutches I am happy.
