Yes, it's adhesive. My '97 came with a V6 badge on the pass. side and
V8 on the drivers. So I had a v14 right? Or is that V7 (average).

For a while it was great. Spanked all kinds of people that thought
I had a V6. I'm glad I have a V8 (not the juice drink!)

When the dealer rectified the situation they didn't do a good job
removing the old one and I could see buff (rather scuff) marks around
it. I should have had them remove both and leave 'em off.

I am sure the dealer would charge an arm and a leg, probably better off
with
an aftermarket sway bar. Guess I will have to wait :-(
One of the guys at my Dodge dealer noticed I took off the decals and
told
me I should take off the V-6 badges. I asked him if they had a hole
behind
them and his reply was, "nope, think they are stuck on with adhesive"
How's
that for intelligence?

See ya,
