Chad, the ABS computer is located under the dash above the transmission hump. The
manual tells you how to ground a pin, etc. but emphisies to be careful or you can
blow this (other) computer.
Would almost bet a dollar to a dounut that your problem is the sensor. Had the
mechanic at the dealer tell me I could unplug the bulbs and the only thing it would
effect would be the rear wheel antilock. He said and I WONT quote is the only time
you really need rear wheel ABS is when you are trailering. I went ahead and installed
a new one myself. It was easy, one bolt and a clip on. Anyway, if you want more info
on getting the codes let me know and I will get the service manual out. The code mine
came up with was that I had a bad sensor or a bad ABS computer.
I went with the sensor first and won :-) Think you will too. Maybe we can get more
input from the DML..
