You have a Regular Cab though....

Everyone who said they wanted to mount their amp under the seat said they
had a club cab. Also your not gonna get any heat inside the cab from your
catalytic converter, I never heard of that before. I have been installing
car stereos for a while too..

First of all I would never mount the amp under the passenger seat. A quick
look under the truck should explain why. Right over the catalytic
converter. Hottest place in the truck and amps need air and as cool a place
as possible. My amp is mounted to the rear cab wall between the bucket
seats directly behind the center console. Yes it can be seen if you are
looking but is out of the way, easy to reach the built-in crossover controls
and the coolest spot available. Besides I got one of those that is designed
to be seen with illuminated vu meters and such. I ran the wires behind the
carped panel in the back cab wall so they aren't seen. The 8 gauge power
wire runs under the carpet to a hole in the firewall to the left of the
steering column where the hood latch cable goes under the hood. Poke a hole
in the grommet and push the wire through and it comes out just below the
brake booster easily routed to the power center near the battery. I suggest
connecting the cable to the power center output cable rather than the
battery directly because it is neat, safe and will not corrode. Be sure to
locate the inline fuse as close to the power center as possible, not at the
amp. I grounded my amp to one of the seat track bolts.
