Kool.....I didn't take in too much body surfing. I spent all my days
re-adjusting to the surf. FL will never produce that sort of power and
shape, not to mention for the given size.... The last day I went out
there was head high, nice form.... I actually took a break cuz I was
very nervous.... I was pounded like a rag doll several times, ouch....
I went out with the camera, my first time water photos, hahahahahaha....
In FL I can go balls to wall nuts, shoot any curl, take any drop....
The only time we have strong surf is during our winter month.....
Although only an idiot would go out in blown out, choppy from h****,
chest high, and breaking in 6 foot water..... Ah swells up to about 4
feet if lucky, and talk about getting drilled.....hahahahahaha....
check these out.....next time I will have the R/T photos up. I even
asked a few young ladies to pose for them.... That is the one thing I
noticed. you guys have sweet truck photos, but no lovely models, waz up
wit dat????

Jason,
Waves have been great shape and waist high for about 1.5 weeks.
Changed
last night to blown out and choppy. High pressure w/winds.
Full suit with
ice cream headache...Im more a fair weather waterman... I use a
buddies
cast off longboards :Blue hawaii and/or beat to snot Takiyama.
I do lots of
body surfing (wife competes) so lots of times Im out without a
flotation
device (gasp)...Keep a big plastic container in the back of the
R/T for fins
and suits to avoid the salt "runoff"...If you make it out to
Cardiff look us
up! Spring suit weather starts around end of May!

Shoot....It is blown out 85% of the year here.... Although 90%
is above
78 degrees..... What about Bajah (big sp here, hahaha), oh darn
that
place in Mexico just south of the border??? Anything kicking in
Del
Mar???? When I was there in September I could bare back it,
that was
nice.... At least hear the best I need is my spring suit,
hahahahaha.... What kind of long board do you toot in that
R/T???? I
saw tons of sweet short boards in every damn shop, hahahaha...
Glad to
see the pricing is equal from coast to coast..... Our select is
about
1% of yours, maybe 2.5% if I go to Ron Jons...

suit,
and a
highly waxed short board, hahahahahaha... Gee feels
like spring
time
already... Let it snow, let it snow, let it
snow...la..la..da..la..la.... Me and Santa will be
shooting the
curl
this weekend while you lay the salt and dig out the
doors,
hahahahahaha....

Folks:
I've completed my winter "mod's":
Two (2) ten (10) gallon rubbermaid tote bins
w/sand&salt
mixture
AND: a 2x4 construction 'rack' to hold 'em in
place. I
have
digital pix but I won't be able to send 'em in
to JonS
until
monday 11jan99 as I have drill in the
Berkshires.
The rack looks like this: (4:2x4's)

--------------
Front of bed | | Rear of bed

--------------

I made the 2x4's the go left to right (in pic
above)
just long enough to allow for the bins to rest
between
the end 2x4 and tailgate. The weight stay put,
I don't
have to worry about the sand slamming into the
front of
bed and I have dry sand/salt if I get stuck on
ice.
If anyone is interested I'll get the digital pix
up
somewhere
if not, well, electrons are recyclable.

OBTW: Boston weather: Snow 2-4" tonight - I'm
driving
from
Boston to
the berkshires for Mass Army National Guard
drill on
Saturday.
I'll
let you know how the traction has improved!
(Berkshires
will
prolly get
8 inches of snow!)
