Thanks, I used the Western Chasis Kit. You have to remove the rear
shackle and spring mounts (16 rivits) and bolt on new ones.
The front consists of 2 new 8 frames, my understanding is no one is
making balljoints yet for the 97-98 so you have to remove the joints
(4 rivits each) and transfer them to the new A-arms.
The whole job took me and my son 12 hrs in his friends very well
equipted garage. The kit with shocks was $500 from Sport Truck Direct
there in all the issues of "Truckin"
Is it a do-it-yourself type of thing, or better to have it done?
