Jason, curious DML'ers:
I just mailed JonS the two pix of the bed of my '97. He'll
probably put them in the pix page.

Basically it involes the sand/salt mixture from the town highway
dept and a couple of rubbermaid bins.
I take 2 10 gallon bins (people that want more weight, use more
bins)
and fill them with the s/s mix and cover them. I only use two
because
I often don't need that much weight (2 bins is about 100 lbs i
think).
The 10 gallon bins are manageable if I need to take them out for
trips
to the lumber yard or toting stuff. The 10 gal. bins also sit below
the top of the bed, so you do obscure the view (or can keep your
tonneau
        on).

I use 2x4's to hold the bins in place - the bins shift if there is
no
snow in the bed and I don't want them flying into the front of the
bed if
I have to stop due to a snow moron.

Other mods: remove perf. mods that are 'quick mods', like JonS
removed
his airfilter mod (I think) and uses the stock one.

Other things: I keep a tow rope and a come-along in the Club cab.
I hate
snow morons but I don't like to see people stranded. Also I use the
glove
compartment for, you guessed it, gloves! (silly me ;).
