I have 13k on my black 98 CC R/T .
I found that when I went on a trip to FL a few months back (700miles) ,
that I only got about 15 MPG . This was at night , about 75 degrees ,
steady driving , only stopping for gas , tailgate up , no a/c on .
I went to VA for Turkey Day and got 20 MPG .
I was doing 60MPH NOT ONE BIT OVER ! I have found that with the gears in
the R/T , that 60MPH (2000RPM with OD on) seems to be the best for mileage
, the further you go over 60 , your mileage drops dramatically .
Yes , I really did get 20 out of the R/T on the way back from VA (650miles)
, I only got just over 19 on the way there.
PEACE
