Well, despite the rain, I spent this past Saturday installing my Borla Exhaust
and new TB. After reading over the archives, and getting some info from
fellow DML members, I decided to go for the Borla exhaust, even though Borla
said it wouldn't fit on my 98 CC 4x4...But for $369, I figured I would find a
way. Well after several hours of pounding on my old exhaust system, I gave
up, and brought it to the local exhaust shop where they cut the muffler off in
about a minute, free of charge. After driving it home, installing the Borla
was a piece of cake; the exhaust fit perfectly (though I had to slide the
spare all the way to the back left corner to keep it away from the
exhaust)...About 45 minutes later, the exhaust was installed and running great.
Frank&Bruce's instructions for the TB were great, and the install was a snap.
And between the 2 mods the performance increase is quite impressive...And I
love the sound of the Borla....My testosterone level is back up in the red,
right where it belongs.

And for the record, the part number for the exhaust was 14740. It is
single-in, dual-out with both pipes coming out the passenger side at the
standard location.
