If power/weight is your goal, get an old Rampage, sell the motor/tranny to
recoup most of the truck's cost. Build up a nice 4bbl 318/340/360 and bolt it
up to a GM(yes, I know) th425 transaxle and drop the whole shebang in the bed
of the truck. 2400 lbs./ 350+??? hp/ lots of traction. I've always wanted to
do something like this.
