I did that already. I'm thinkin' of re-doin' my exhaust since I need a new
converter anyway. I have a 3" Flowmaster and it's too big for my 6er, so
I'm thinkin' of goin' with a 2.5" Gibby. It probably will cost more for the
Gibby, but since it's got a lifetime garantee, I won't have to spend another
150-200 bones in 2 more years to get all the rusted out pipes and tips
replaced (I had a pipe and both of my tips rust out after a year!!!).
Besides, there's no Mandrel Bending where I live, and the one that I can
access is more expensive than a Borla cat-back... sorta' a Catch 22 in
my area =(

Mike,
There is a way. Just go to the muffler shop and say "do it". But why
bother?
The advantage of a cat-back system is that you DON'T have to adapt it
OR go to
a muffler shop. It is a straight bolt on affair that you can do yourself. Any
"decent muffler shop" will BUILD you a "cat back" from scratch with the
muffler and tips of your choice. It would probably cost you MORE to buy
and
adapt a system than to custom make one. Just make sure they have a
Mandrel
bender.
