You can get them from Galls, or any police supply store that you might
find. This page will show the whole Streamlight line:
http://www.galls.com/products/listing.asp?cat_code=A&scat_code=109&brand_code=100

The flashlight is made out of aircraft aluminum (unless you get a poly
or plastic model) and puts out 1 1/2 hours of continuous burn at 30,000
candle power. The beam on these are well focused and makes a perfect
spot. They come in 20x and 30x models the 20's are the size of a 3 cell
maglite, the 30's are longer.

The stinger is the compact version of this, available in aluminum or
poly. It's only 20,000 cp and the spot is adjustable, but it isn't
focused as well as the full size fixed focus models. For a small light
it really performs though.

You can get DC chargers for them and they are designed for police use.
You could set one up in your truck and keep it the charger which is what
I plan on doing one of these days...

The cost is a little steep ($100) but everything is replaceable and the
last forever. You just can't break these things. My dad has one and
it's been dropped many times on concrete and still works. A Dak
deserves a light this tough!
