I am a Police Officer for a large Midwestern city whose weakwilled Mayor
mandated all Police Officers had to retire their Mag-lites and carry
poly-stingers after a episode in which there was the allegation that a
Police Officer used the light as a club, which as long as it was done in
accordance with the laws of the land there should be no problem. But, to
cater to special interest groups and undermine the police department he
abolished the use of them. I have no problem with Stingers as a back-up
light but the run time is way too short and the flashlight is way too
fragile for duty use. As a in-car light they should be wonderful. Dakota
content: I can hardly wait for the quad-cab and wonder if I will be able to
order leather seats and a 360 in a 4X4
