I'll check with the track to see exactly what they wanted in the way of a helmet.
The track at Maxton, NC requireds a helmet for everybody, even grandma in her
Honda Civic. They also required that the helmet meet Snell 95 specs, and they
check the helmet when the car/truck goes through tech inspection.
Now at Rockingham they don't required a helmet unless you are faster then 12.99
and then they never look at it.
So it varies a lot from track to track.
