Sounds like a fun day, I will be there next time. Make sure you post the
pics when you get them......I am really surprised there weren't more people.
These weekends have been so nice next time we should plan a BBQ. Keep in
touch, next weekend is out at this point, I think you know why. We will get
something going soon.

What a day. I got to the Garden of Gods visitors center at 11:00am, and
the weather was beautiful--mid to upper 40's and a day just after about 2 or
3 inches of snow. Pedro, from Denver came down(thanks Pedro) and we chatted
for about 2 hours. Hope that truck has arrived for you. After Pedro left I
and my wife went through the Garden of Gods and headed up Rampart Range Rd.
Now if nobody knows this road( from around area) it's 20 miles of
dirt, dust, and rocks sticking out of the road for a nice 4-wheeling adventure
to the tires and shocks. Now mind you I only had 2-wheel get up and go but
it was fun. I climbed to around 10 or 12,000 feet, before cresting the summit
I got into some snow and ice for some sideways adventures. I wanted to go to
the resevior they have there, just off the beaten path but it was
closed--when I got to the other side to Woodland Park, we stopped and had a
bite at McDonalds and headed back on US-24 for home--we spent around 4-hours
on that mountain---You guys(gals)should of been there, it was a fun day. I
did take some pictures, but they're still in the camera.
