  I don't think it would work. The flanges aren't reinforced at the bolt
holes, but the entire valve cover does sort've "dimple" in to allow access
to a socket wrench I would guess. Its hard to explain, and the pics on the
upgrades page don't show the impressions, but if you take a look at a
pair of Edelbrock valve covers at a local speed shop, I think you'll see
what I mean. There doesn't appear to be enough material to drill a bolt
hole without breaking through the wall of the valve cover.
