That '98 C5 Corvette was an automatic too, right? Most six speed C5s
when run at the track get very close to the 12.99s (could do it with better
tires than the stock EMTs for sure). My '99 6-speed runs a best of 13.02@111
mph.....The EMTs kinda suck for traction!
But to be honest, the R/T is just about as much fun. It gets almost
the same amount of attention!
