Carlsbad is about 200 ft above sea level in Californai. You can see the
Ocean from the stands (more or less). My buddies Camaro is an LT1 with 6psi
@ 6000 rpm (just talked to him) his motor has a clean bill of health as of
last weekend at least. Its also his daily commuter, so its got about 110K
miles on it. His 60ft times still are high at 2.0...Uses drag radials. Best
ET 12.85... Too bad my R/T cant come close to it! (link)

        What's the elevation at Carlsbad? Is that out in california or New
Mexico (excuse my ignorance here please :)? Is his car an LT1, LT4 or LS1?
Maybe he has a blown head gasket, I had an 8 psi b-trim Vortec supercharger
on
a Mustang 5.0L and it blew the head gasket....I could hardly tell. Never
leaked coolant or ran funny....Just didn't quite run as good as it had when
it
was right.
