Hype Plugs?

Okay, let's settle this thing.

Has anybody gotten performance or mileage GAINS just by using "fancy" spark
plugs( no other simultaneous mods)? In your response remember that simply by
replacing an old set with a fresh set of plugs you should get a boost.
