  I'd definitely recommend learning everything you can about it. (Which
you're doing right now, obviously.) :-) "Nitrous Oxide Injection" by
David Vizard is somewhat dated, but still has a lot of great info in it.

   A couple of the biggest things are to avoid a lean condition at all
costs, and don't get greedy!!! :-) If you want a shot bigger than 125hp
or so, you'll need to build up your engine for it... All of the safety
features you can afford would probably be a good idea too. (i.e. low
fuel pressure shutoff, etc.)
