Of course you know it's illegal to do anything to the cats. Having 2 cats is
just as illegal(technically) as not having any(hint,hint). Besides, you'll get
the MIL light for your trouble.
There are many exhaust systems available that will give you dual outlets from
your single cat. I have a Gibson split-dual cat back in my 97 and it looks and
sounds great.
