Kenne bell has the best kit for our trucks for several reasons.
1)full boost at 2400rpm (you wont get this with a centrifugal SC)
2)auto retard system
a)the kit comes with the optimizer and a knock sensor. If any detonation is
detected then the optimizer retards the timing.
3)the blower is a whipplecharger
4)they have heavily tested the kit and continue to update the kits, and have
tsb's.
5)its quiet so you can have a sleeper
6)you can tow with it

I have done my homework on this and the whipplecharger is the best for
street use. Got my kenne bell kit 2 days ago! I spent 300 in tools to do the
job without any regrets. The most expensive was the craftsman torque wrench
that goes over 200lbs and a timing light to test the retard system which is
new to the kit. It was 3850 + 60 for S&H, it weights 97lbs. but now its a
bit more because they added the timing retard system. Its going to take a
while to install because the kit comes with a upgraded intake and pelulium
gaskets. They have been blowing out and kenne recommends doing the gasket
upgrade first. I started this today but had to wrap up after draining
coolant and pulling the alternator because it requires a special fuel line
removal tool to get the line of the fuel rail. O well, next weekend.

here is a pick of a blown Durango. BTW, this kit fits the
ram/Dakota/Durango.

scanned from their catalog. Give em a call and order one, there is some cool
stuff.

I am seriously considering getting blown, I have a '99 R/T and I'm
thinking about going with the Vortec but I know that Kenne Bell has one,
but I can't find any information on those guys, or any one that sells
the Kenne Bell products. I was wondering if any one has any links for
Kenne Bell, and does any one have a blower on their truck? What kind,
what kinda performance did you get? Any recommendations on a
supercharger??? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
