This all reminds me of a burnout contest I saw... there was a 340 duster
there, that you couldn't see after about 15 seconds... all you heard was the
roar from the exhaust, the squealing of the tires, and after about a minute
and a half..... BLAM! BLAM!.... yep, you guessed it... he blew both rear
tires!

also reminds me of someone I knew in high school who loved burnouts... drove
a '73 Chevelle... egged him on at a stoplight on the strip in Anchorage
(Alaska) in front of the McDonalds (big hangout)... the light had just
turned red, and he smoked 'em the whole time the light was red (about 25-30
seconds)... made a pretty good cloud, and cheers from the Mcee D's... the
light turned green, and we left the light... about 100 ft later.. CLUNK,
CLUNK.... yep, both his axles FELL out!... he got no end of ribbing from us
(for not driving a mopar..)
